Steel cylinder tanks – not just for oil!
No material has a longer track record at fluid storage than steel.
For decades, double-walled steel cylinder tanks, whether below or above ground, have guaranteed safe, trouble-free storage of any type of liquid.
Because of these container systems’ outstanding characteristics, they are suitable not only for the most common, best-known storage materials, such as heating oil, diesel fuel and carburettor fuel. They are also good for many other liquids, such as biofuels, vegetable oils, alcohols, benzenes and solvents, to name just a few.
Decisive for evaluating chemical stress from the stored fluid are norm DIN 6601 and appendix B of DIN EN 12285-1.
This list of materials contains hundreds of fluids that can be stored in untreated steel cylinder tanks.
Furthermore, adding appropriate interior coatings can multiply the possible applications many times over.

To determine and choose the wall material and any interior coating, precise information on the material to be stored (safety data sheet) and the operating conditions is necessary.
For special water or waste water, a water analysis is needed.
We are at your service for resistance testing, resistance declarations and choice of material combination.
Take advantage of our experience.
