Sand blasting and coatings

To remove rust, scale and impurities, the containers are sandblasted. That increases adhesion of the surface and its coating.

Dimensions:
Sand blasting for parts up to 16 tons. Total weight of part lengths up to 16 m and 3 m in diameter.

Sample parts:
Plates, supports, containers, steel constructions, railings, etc.

Blasting abrasive:
Steel shot, 1 mm to 1.25 mm, angular

Coatings:
Unprotected steel corrodes in the atmosphere, in water and in soil. To prevent such corrosion damage, steel constructions are usually protected, so as to withstand corrosion during their required useful life.

The various types of corrosion protection are:

··········  Atmospheric corrosion protection   ··········

1-component production and primer coatings
2-component production and primer coatings
1-component system/finish coatings
2-component system/finish coatings

··········  Corrosion protection for container interior surfaces   ··········

Area TRbF 401 / 402, (flammable liquids)
Stress from coolant, industrial and waste water
Stress from beverages and foodstuffs

··········  Corrosion protection for underground containers   ··········

Bitumen insulation
Epoxy coating
PU foam (for LZU)
