Heat exchangers

All of our heat exchangers are calculated, built and tested according to EC pressure equipment directives 97/23 EC.


Planning note:

The following list of devices represents just a small portion of our array of products: If you need a plate heat exchanger for a different application, let us know. We will gladly draw up an offer.
For the layout and dimensions, we need the following data:

Primary/secondary media
(steam, hot water, drinking water, swimming pool water)
Output in kW or the required amount of the medium to be cooled or heated
Media, operating temperature (inflow and outflow, or positive operating pressure for steam) primary/secondary
Permissible operating data (required allowable positive operating pressure or operating temperature)
Other characteristics (permissible pressure loss, maximum dimensions, etc.)

Bolted plate heat exchanger with stainless-steel profile heating surfaces and intermediate leak channel for ranges up to 25,000 kW

Product description
Heat exchanger with removable release plate and all connectors necessary for operation. With base plates setting on an existing foundation. No fittings, counter flanges, bolts or seals.

The devices can be supplied in the following versions:

Plates: Stainless steel No. 1.4301 or 1.4401/titanium
Seals: NBR/EPDM
Connectors: Steel/stainless steel 1.4401
(threaded connections standard 1.4401)
Permissible positive operating pressure: 10/16 bar
(25 bar in special version)
Permissible operating temperature to 150°C

WFS high-performance spiral tube heat exchanger

Vertical spiral tube heat exchanger
Performance range 20 – 5,000 kW

Product description WFS
Vertical high-performance heat exchanger based on the counterflow principle with integral tube bundle. Heat insulation of mineral wool with aluminium sheath of textured sheet.

Tube bundles are set in several layers creating a very large number of tubes and a large heat transmission surface in a small space.

Horizontal or vertical tube bundle heat exchanger
Performance range up to 50,000 kW

Product description
Tube bundle heat exchanger with replaceable/integral U needle / straight smooth-pipe heating surface. Front head, housing and tube heating surface built and tested in compliance with applicable AD instructions and DIN norms. Heat exchanger with removable front head(s) and all connectors necessary for operation.

Heat insulation of high-performance mineral wool mat adhered directly into the outer sheath. Outer sheath made of sheet steel, packed separately.

Performance range to 250 kW

Product description
WFE high-performance electric heat generator in 1-way version with removable heating element.

Heating flange with built-in overheat protection and safety temperature limiter, as well as protection class IP 54 water-spray-protected connection box.

Heat insulation of mineral wool with galvanized sheet steel sheath. No counter flanges, bolts, seals or control fittings.

The devices are configured for the following operating specifications:

For heating media: Heating water (other media upon request)
Heating rods: No. 1.4571 stainless steel
Permissible positive operating pressure: 10 bar
Permissible operating temperature: 95°C
