Instructions for ATEX explosion protection
Operators of explosive solids storage and transport systems that began operation before 1 July 2003 must create an “explosion protection document” by 31 December 2005 according to ATEX 137 or 118a Section 6.

If you need help with this, we gladly offer our support.

Likewise, we would like to note that protection systems, e.g., explosion protection flaps on silos containing explosive solids, must be tested according to BGV C15 Section 30 or the applicable “Rheinbraun recommendations” respectively.

Who can test:

A person authorized by the manufacturer (altmayerBTD) or a person authorized by the operator who is recognized by the responsible authorities (here Section 14, paragraph 6 of the German occupational health and safety law is to be observed).

altmayerBTD has the testing competence.
