In the summer, the sun delivers more energy than we can use. Only in winter is solar energy too sparse to heat a whole house. With a seasonal mass reservoir, we offer you the ability to use the summer sun even in the winter. This consistent use of solar energy saves oil, gas, electric power and solid fuels.

A reservoir of 20,000 to 40,000 litres will completely cover the heating and hot water needs of a passive single-family home. This reservoir can be integrated into a new house or designed as an underground thermal storage system. However, existing houses can also be retrofitted.

With our PRIMASOL® solar technology and the established reservoir program, we offer all the components necessary for creating a 100 percent solar house. Because the reservoir program is so comprehensive, we can offer a diversity of individual solutions, such as above-ground or underground thermal storage systems. Underground reservoirs can be directly foam insulated for low heat loss, or the containers can additionally be made with double-shell composite construction and tested bitumen coatings.
